Draft. This document is under legal review and is not yet in effect. Highlighted text in brackets is still to be filled in.

This policy explains what the HeadhuntEZ website and app store in your browser, and why. In short: the website sets no cookies and tracks nothing, and remembers only which Insights articles you have read; the app keeps only what it needs to sign you in and remember your settings.

1. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, keep information in your browser in other ways. Both can be used to keep you signed in, to remember settings, or to track you across sites.

2. Our website

The HeadhuntEZ website at www.headhuntez.com does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking technologies. Its fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not contact a font provider.

Ask HeadhuntEZ, the role check on our website, sends what you type to our servers to analyze it and stores nothing in your browser. We count how far visitors get through it on our servers, without cookies.

On Insights, your browser keeps two short lists in its local storage: the articles you have read through, so the feed does not offer them again, and the ones you marked useful, so your mark is not counted twice. They never leave your device, are not used to track you, and are cleared when you clear the site data in your browser; without them Insights still works and simply does not remember.

A video or post from another service in an article, such as YouTube, Instagram, X or Telegram, is shown as a preview and loads nothing from that service until you click it. Once you do, that service may set its own cookies under its own policy.

The site's admin pages, used only by HeadhuntEZ staff, keep a sign-in token in browser storage while staff are signed in.

3. The HeadhuntEZ app

When you sign in to the HeadhuntEZ app, we use browser storage that is strictly necessary for it to work:

  • to keep you signed in and your session secure;
  • to remember interface settings you choose.

This storage is not used for advertising or to track you on other sites. Because the app cannot work without it, it cannot be switched off while you use the app.

4. Service providers

Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical measures, such as protection against abuse and attacks, to deliver the site and the app securely.

5. If this changes

If we add analytics or any other storage beyond what this policy describes, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires, ask for your consent before using it.

6. Your choices

You can delete cookies and site data, and block them, in your browser settings. Blocking storage for the HeadhuntEZ app will sign you out and stop it from working.
